Didn't someone once formulate that for every $25 a barrel of oil sold for, refined fuel costs $1? That would mean oil is selling for $75/bbl. now, but it isn't.

The fleecing of the American public because summer driving season is approaching, or is it because refineries are changing to their summer blends?

Anyone else get the email that's circulating about boycotting gas stations on May 15 to send a message?? Apparently it was also done in '97 and prices dropped overnight (not sure if this is an urban myth or not...)

Up to $3.29 today. That's a 96-cent increase from election day, or 41 percent. Changing over to a summer blend must be an incredibly expensive undertaking.

 

still managed to find on station charging $2.75..everybody else is 2.80 and up

 

Don't forget that they are doing annual "maintenance" to the refineries also.
