Up to $3.29 yesterday, a four-cent jump over the weekend. Didn't drive by there today but I'm sure it's up to $3.33 or so, following the obligatory 4-cent a day increase. That's a 96-cent inrease from election day ($2.33).

Can't these people do refinery maintenance in the winter, when demand is down? Of course not.

Stay tuned for July 1 and the release of the quarterly financial reports. I suspect there will be some pretty substantial profits to report.

I'm a public transportation guy but I fee for those out there getting hit by the gas bug. I'm thinking about getting a vehicle and this may be a great time. The price should be cheap.

Today's edition of Sodomy Theater was $3.53.

And no, Slappy. I haven't seen a dime from Jeopardy yet. Not until this summer.

I think they have to do it at the same time they switch to the summer blend. I'm pretty sure the two are related.

Of course, there would have to be refineries available to do maintenance on. A problem, when they keep closing them -- as they've done here in California

    All hail NIMBYism.

Maybe offer tax breaks on gas for people in towns that allow refineries to be built?
