Yeah, but that doesn't say anything about the war and tear on your vehilce going out to various assignments. And when your car breaks down, nothing makes you feel better than to have an editor jump in your ass.

$3.09 today. I put in $15 worth, didn't even get it to half-tank.

Fuck. Glad I'm going on the road this week, with a company car.

I am an idiot for not filling up on my way home tonight. Tomorrow it will probably go up 5 cents. If I had gotten some, though, I would have paid $3.23.

Holding steady at $2.99 here. Still haven't paid $3 for gas in my life ... yet.

It was $2.89 about 10 days ago, 2.97 by last week then shot up to $3.25 in a matter of about 48 hours Fri and Saturday. Hovering between 3.15 and 3.25 most places.

    $3.29.

One of the coaches at the college I cover said he went to visit his parents last weekend. He said he spent about $300 in gas from the roundtrip and the week he spent in town.

And just think ... we're going to Chicago for our old-fashioned Creole family vacation here in a few weeks. I expect a Christmas card from the oil companies.

I guess I no longer have to wonder how the other side is paying to finance their war against the US.
