How much did you pay for gas today?

Saw $2.99 sign at a Chevron yesterday, first time under $3 in a looooooooong time.

 

Back down to 2.72 this morning (July 22).

 

$2.98

 

Today I saw prices ranging from more than $3.60 per gallon in Darien, Conn., to $2.879 in southern New Hampshire.

 

$2.95 in Bennington.

 

$3.33, down six cents from last week.

 

$2.93

 

The more prudent question for me is ... How much have you paid for gas this month? And, in that case, the answer would be: $306.50.

Fuck 45-mile commutes. I like my old one better. That one was 4 miles. :

Fuel has slowly spiraled downward to $2.949.

 

I hear tell of $2.599 in the far western suburbs. I may have to go out that way tomorrow anyway, so what the hell.
