How much did you pay for gas today?

That $96-per-barrel finally is trickling down to us.

$2.99 here in Pittsburgh, but I'm seeing $3.09 at some places..

 

$2.99 today and it's supposed to go up again on Monday. Happy Holidays is right, just in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

 

$3.09 yesterday, 3.12 today. I'm thinking of filling up on Sunday just so I don't have to deal with it when it goes up another quarter.

I'm not going anywhere until winter preps start, so why not?

 

It's $3.09 down the street, but got lucky and filled up for $2.97 on the way back from my football game tonight 45 miles away.

 

I was in Big Spring today to cover volleyball and even though that shitty town - which reminded me of Pocatello, Idaho, by the way (without the mountains) - has a refinery in it, it still cost $2.96 a gallon.

 

It's up to $2.89 here.

The good news for me is that I live about a mile from the paper and less than that from school I cover, so a tank of gas goes a long way for me. I use a rental car for all road trips over 150 miles, which is pretty much all of them, so I'm not feeling the pinch too bad.

2.79, and that's up about 13 cents from normal around these parts. Actually went up 10 cents from two days ago.

 

My brother told me it is in the $3.30 range in the Seattle area. Glad I don't live there anymore - actually that is not true at all.

 

Gas sucks. I'm going to start walking everywhere.
