I got $3.09 the other day, but I've seen as high as $3.29 downtown

It's $1.08 a litre here today. That's about $4.10 a gallon and our currencies are at PAR.

Some are saying we could be looking at $1.25-$1.30 a litre by summer. That's $4.75 a gallon.

it went up 20 cents during one shift of work when i was in the midwest. literally shook my head like a cartoon character when i drove by thinking i wasn't focusing correctly.

on a side note: have a mentioned lately how glad i am to be out of the midwest?

In Kahului, a mile from the main airport in Maui, I paid $3.91 to re-fill my rental. The largest amount I've ever paid for a gallon of gas.

Jesus. Mary and Joseph. No wonder the Honolulu Advertiser had a story about how gas is 20 cents a gallon more expensive on the islands than anywhere else in the country.

It was $3.43 on Sunday at an AM/PM. That's the cheap stuff, too!

Filled up yesterday for $3.04 before it jumped to $3.15 at the same station later in the day. And before that, gas was already up to $3.19 in my hometown, which usually waits until the next city over raises its prices.

$2.99 today, and I filled up.

Was $2.89 last week, went to $2.79 for about 14 hours, back up to $2.89 and then the next day it was at $2.99. A town less than 20 miles down I-70, it's 20 cents cheaper. Tell me collusion ain't happening.

Collusion ain't happening. The oil companies are our friends. They're paying millions on research and development. Just ask BP, I saw it on one of their commercials!

It's all about supply and demand. Of course, demand is down right now. But we'll gouge you anyways.

Let's hope demand stays down long enough for capitalism to work.

Of course, these bastards will figure out a way to explain how a glut of oil makes for higher gas prices.

    $3.24 at a Sunoco.

Then I read the New York Times and saw that it's supposed to crack $4 a gallon this summer.

That makes it what, three years in a row now? As they say, third time's a charm. And I'm terrified.

How can it be expensive in Canada? Bush isn't the president of Canada and clearly high gas prices are Bush's fault.
