Two weeks ago, went from $2.94 to $3.09. Dipped to $2.99 yesterday. Back to $3.09 today.

Why is it when gas prices drop, it's slow and gradual, but when gas prices to up, shoots up 10-20 cents instantly?

I'd switch to a diesel ... but diesel is damn near $3.70, while gasoline is still just a shade over $3.

Damn state legislatures ... sticking it to the truckers with taxes. Trust me, it's all taxes. Diesel is practically a waste byproduct.

Paid $3.45, and that was one of the cheaper ones around town. I swear it was something like 3.19 when I filled up a week and a half ago.

When asked by a reporter Thursday about what advice he'd give an average American faced by the prospect of $4 gallon gas, Bush responded: "That's interesting. I hadn't heard that. ...I know it's high now."

Paid $2.99 today at the exact same place where I paid $2.70-something a week ago.

When can we start putting ears of corn into our cars? That better work too, considering it's made the price of other produces go up.

You might want to air up the tires on the bicycle ...
