Very, very little. When I run, basically, and I get up at 4 to do that on about 5 1/2-6 hours sleep. I have a train commute, too, but that's not exactly relaxing.

We have a 7 and a 4-year-old who are both pretty high-energy and high-volume. This is no shit: If I step into the next room to put the Bulls game into something, there is a maximum of 20 seconds or so before Mrs. Whitman is calling out for me to know where I went.

We're a tight-knit family, but I'd love a chance to try to write another book or even some fiction, along with some other hobbies I'd like to give a spin. But I think those days have passed. But I do love those little shits, I am so lucky, and I realize these are first-world problems, big-time

I switched from working "2nd shift" (5-1) on a sports desk to working from home in Jan. 16.
Now, I get up around 8 with my son, mess around with him and check work email, then take hime to daycare from 10:30-3:30; then I get him, we go do something or come home to make dinner. My wife comes home and we spend time together...something we have never done since we have done much of since we've been married. For the 1st 13 years of marriage we worked opposite hours, sometimes even took vacations alone since we never could get the same dates off.
Now we do a lot together, but I still am "alone" for 5-6 hours a day now, but it's work related mostly (until I hop on here or Facebook).
    It's been really weird.

Live alone and am not in a relationship. Sleep about 9 hours a night and am working 45ish now in what is the busiest season of the year for us, so I guess I have about 60 hours alone. I would count very little of that as "time to myself," as in time I can do what I want. Too many chores, and I get roped into doing stuff for parents and other family too much.

As much free time as I want. Single. Live by myself. Just me and the dog. Pajamas - when I'm not in public, usually..
