First, we were supposed to be outraged because some paper in Guyana bought a bunch of crap from this guy and ran the story.

OK, my faith in Guyanian(?) newspapers has taken a hit.

But when SportsJournalists.com didn't mobilize, we were told that this has happened at legit U.S. papers, too, such as Colorado Springs.

Well, it turns out the Colorado Springs reporter saw through the bullshit and didn't print his lies.

OK, now what am I supposed to do?

Well, Redneck (and you listen up, IJAG) you DID NOT say the CS Gazette saw through his shit you wrote:

That clearly implies that the Gazette wrote the same shit.

I don't know nor care what your axe to grind is with this guy -- and don't give me your love of the sport and protecting the sport bullshit -- but you lumped the Gazette story with the Guyana story and that is an outright falsehood, from which you are now backtracking.
