How to deal with a breakup

It might not be a bad idea. There's been a lot of drunk posting lately, and that's not necessarily a good thing.

 

There's also this PM feature on here that works wonders. Personally I'll be on AIM and myspace after work as well as lurking here. I'd strongly suggest that we keep the personal crap off the boards tonight. It was way out of hand last night.

 

Wait ... your BEST friend is a guy?
If you've seen When Harry Met Sally ... 'men and women can never be friends. because one wants to sleep with the other and inevitable, it will ruin the relationship.' Or something like that.

I don't know, maybe I'm a pessimistic fool, but I don't know ANY of my buddies who have a girl as a best friend. Good friends? Sure. But best?
Maybe we've all got different definitions of best friend.

I sleep, just not till 4 a.m. or so my time.

And A_F, yes my best friend's a guy. We've gotten each other through more shit (custody fights with his ex, my crappy taste in men, his equally crappy taste in women) than I care to remember.

Not me ... actually, I only consider about 10 people friends. The rest are acquaintances.

yeah, people prob have many best friends.

i probably have 2 guys i'd called my 'best friends' - i tell them more than the others

on the girls side, it's tough to have girls as friends when you're in a relationship ... so basically im just on an IM/email friendship with most ...
