I've always asked them what kind of sandwiches and drinks they wanted and then either my wife or I would drive to a deli and get them. Surprisingly, they never wanted beer.

Is anyone else still waiting for Mayfly to say something, ANYTHING, funny?
    Or is it just me?

I'm just not bringing it tonight, I feel like Chris in American Idol. Now back to your regularly scheduled thread.

I wish someone had told me that before I helped move my own 200-pound TV. Twice.

What kind of TV do you have? 1960s? Or is it a HD?

A Sony CRT HDTV. All the dependability and clarity of the traditional cathode-ray tube and HDTV to boot.

Plus, I think a couple of former colleagues are probably stuffed in there based on the weight. :-\

Heavy TVs are not fun. Moving one from my dorm to my car was a pain enough. I could only imagine one 200 lbs. Mine had to be at least 120, or so I thought.

Get food that's quick and easy. Dunkin' Donuts or Krispy Kreme, McDonald's. Stuff that will fill the movers up and won't put a huge dent in your bank account.

And plenty of cold water, as someone sugggested earlier.
