Life had a hell of a cast and (recurring guest stars). Lewis and Shahi, Robin Weigert (Sons of Anarchy/Deadwood), Brent Sexton (The Killing, Justified, Deadwood), Donal Logue (SOA, Terriers), Adam Arkin (SOA, The West Wing), Jessy Schram (Falling Skies, Last Resort), Michael Cudlitz (Southland)...that show was anything but a career killer.

Flipping through the channels the other day and came across "Rock Star" with Mark Wahlberg/Jennifer Aniston.

Low and behold, the guy who played Kirk Cuddy in the band Steel Dragons was none other than Detective Jimmy McNulty (Dominic West).

Jonathan Banks aka Mike from "Breaking Bad" is the air traffic controller with the old timey
microphone and brown leather jacket in "Airplane!" He's in the scene where the guy behind him is pulling out laundry.

No surprise Billy won that showdown since way back in the day, he was a Division I athlete.

Van Alden from "Boardwalk Empire" plays a zoned-out hippy who is one of the two men who stole and burned Gram Parson's body in "Grand Theft Parsons." He was about 50 pounds lighter than he is today.

Just watched "The Way of the Gun" and kept trying to place the doctor. Looked familiar, wasn't sure, so I checked IMDB. It's the guy who played the Cameron, the snitch in "Dead Poet's Society." The only other place I've seen him was in a movie called "Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken." Had no idea he was still acting.

Also, per the movie thread, I Netflix'd "Wake in Fright" and one of the guys was Clancy in "The Man From Snowy River," which makes sense considering the filming locations. But WiF came out in 1971, so it was kind of bizarre.

I think I mentioned it much, much earlier in this thread, but he's the groom of the young newlywed couple that Phil Connors gives Wrestlemania tickets to near the end of Groundhog Day.

Daniel Day-Lewis is the leader of a trio of South Africans who confront Ben Kingsley in the first 25 minutes of "Gandhi."
