Watching The Martian, which is showing on FX for the millionth time, and noticed Nick Mohammed (Nathan Shelley, for anyone who didn’t know) is the guy operating the Pathfinder’s camera at the JPL when Watney first establishes communication with earth.

I was re-watching "The Battered Bastards of Baseball" today and it was absolutely driving me crazy that I couldn't place where I'd seen the team's bat boy, Hollywood director Todd Field.

Then it hit me, he's the piano player in "Eyes Wide Shut." So I gave myself a pass, because with all the scenery in that movie who remembers the piano player?

William Fichtner, Maryvale HS, filmed "Cold Brook" in my hometown several years ago.

Not William Fichtner - this is Peter Greene.

Somehow, even having seen it many times, I never realized Dan Aykroyd had a bit part in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Played the Brit who set up the cargo plane escape that ended up belonging to Lao Che.

I just watched Temple of Doom last week. Raiders too. Haven't made it to Crusade yet.

I haven't watched the entire movie since the first time I saw it in the theater. At first glance, I actually thought you were kidding. Obviously not.
