Gene Hackman's cameo as the blind hermit in Young Frankenstein. Missed it when I saw it in the theater, and I don't believe he was credited. But I read later that he was in it and after I saw it the second time, I realized who he was.

Not quite the thread's intent, but I recently watched Pryor's "Live from Sunset Strip" and was very surprised to see none other than the Rev. Jesse Jacson sitting in the front row.

    Patrick Dempsey in "Outbreak."

It was on last night. The first thing I thought was "That's that guy on that show about that Seattle hospital."

Just noticed Tom Hardy and the guy who plays Jamie Lannister on Game of Thrones in "Black Hawk Down."

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who I don't remember seeing in anything before Game of Thrones, but that goes for most of that cast outside of Sean Bean, Peter Dinklage, Lena Headley and Mark Addy.

How much for one rib? ... You got change for a hundred?

Damon Wayans was in Beverly Hills Cop as, I believe, the guy who gave Eddie Murphy a banana to stick in Taggart and Rosewood's tailpipe.

I believe Tim Robbins was the second-string quarterback at one point in the movie. He was a head taller than everyone else and uncoordinated. I think he might have even stumbled over his own feet, which paved the way for Helen Hunt to come in.

I think Daphne Zuniga also played Helen Hunt's sister in that movie?

Adrian Grenier (Vincent Chase) was a passenger in a car in "A.I."

Jimmy Smits was Don Johnson's original partner in the pilot of "Miami Vice," at least for a few minutes.

I didn't catch this until recently. Julie Bowen from "Modern Family" was the PGA Tour PR rep/Adam Sandler's love interest in "Happy Gilmore."
