    Good times!

Alas, no film will be available. Photographs might be posted, if my wife can figure out how. The barfing pumpkin and the pumpkin who just shot himself in the head on out and on display. The power tools are plugged in. Time to get dressed and scare the kiddies. Already had two parents visit and make special requests... If only they knew what they've just earned their widdle bunnies.

And I resent that this thread has turned into a discussion about whether my penis tastes like watermelon. Frankenberry, maybe. Never watermelon, except when I'm in Dubuque.

    Woo-hoo!

I love Halloween, but that's just plain wrong.

My stomach hurts from laughing so hard reading this thread!

The Rosebuds are too old for tricks-or-treats. The nearby town holds an annual Halloween party for the younger kids, then a teen dance which starts at 7 p.m. When the kids were younger, there were some friends' places we'd hit either on the way too or from the party. Tonight, they'll go to the dance and I get some quiet time.

I'll have just a couple kids show up -- not a lot of younger kids out in my neck of the woods. But Moddy, when I bought candy today I thought of you when I grabbed the bag of Kit Kats.

But the Almond Joys are mine.

I love Halloween! I took the night off so I can go to the annual parade in The Village!

Awwww, poor Stan! Sorry sportschick, but you deserved to be scratched for such an indignity!

I thought you'd be jealous of all the humans trying to disguise themselves as cats. Or hot for 'em. ;)

Outing alert: SC sister is Angela from The Office.

Put me in the I love Halloween group. For those who make an effort to be away from home during Trick or Treat hours, that was suicide when I was growing up. Be prepared to come home to soaped up windows, toilet paper'd trees, eggs smashed or shaving cream everywhere. Not that I did any of that stuff, but I heard it happened.

Nowadays, it is very community and parent controlled (at least where I leave). Hell, trick or treat isn't even on Halloween here. And it is during the day! Blasphemy!

My wife and I always have liked decorating it up - it's a "spooky day" so why not go with the flow? This year we had a Haunted Garage (and this plays into whomever said aren't we supposed to keep our kids away from strangers; we were inviting kids with no parents into our dark garage ... eh) and I scared a number of kids and adults as I stood like a statue then spooked the heck out of them (not the younger kids, don't worry). Good times.

I was going to ask who will vouch for that, but on second thought, maybe that's not such a good idea.

Forgot the best part about Halloween. Sticking your nose into our kids' bags of candy and taking that big whiff. Smells like ... victory. Or Halloween.

A Halloween potluck lunch at my work was awesome. The only things dressed up were sandwiches where the bread was in the shape of ghosts and the cupcakes had orange and black sprinkles on them. Yum!

There absolutely needs to be a clapping smiley for whenever 21 or Jones gets going.

For 21, when the family is involved, it oughta be a standing ovation smiley.

Real question: Is there anything that can be done about the increasingly older kids that come to the door? Some of them don't even bother to dress up, but I'm afraid if I send them packing my house may pay the penalty.

Guess I could ask Jones over ;)

For those wondering, the "n" is silent (the only thing in my family that ever was).
