    I like halloween because it gives attractive females an excuse to dress like complete sluts and get away with it. Sexy kitty, sexy nurse, sexy frankenstein. Whatever. Me likey.

    I'm not a big fan of it either. I mean I was when I was younger, but not as much. I get dragged to Halloween parties with my wife and always end up spending way more than I wanted to for a costume. Don't mind the decorations or the Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror (or is it Terror), but I can do without the "holiday."

    We don't celebrate it for religious reasons, although we're not fanatical about it and we don't judge those who choose to celebrate it.

    But the school has turned Halloween into a daylong event -- parade in the morning, assembly in the late morning, party in the afternoon -- so Baby MMSW gets a day off. And instead of trick-or-treating, Baby MMSW gets to pick a restaurant for dinner. Not Wendy's either. This kid has taste. I think we're going to a Greek seafood place.
