    I was at this costume party thing on Saturday night and this guy was there dressed as Britney Spears "after" (what, I have no bloody clue). And some chick was there dressed as Britney Spears "before."

    I didn't dress up for the party because I was coming from covering a football game, but I think I might have otherwise gone as one of the Redskins' 894575485 assistant coaches.

    Some friends live in an older, high-dollar part of town, very nice. And they say they get about 800 trick-or-treaters every Halloween. That's a buncha kids trekking across the lawn.

    The college where I work hosted trick-or-treating in dorms Thursday night, so we took the kids. I hope we're staying home tomorrow night, with the lights out. If not, the wife can handle the door. I'll stay in the den.

    Those are pretty impressive. My most impressive one was my senior year in college when I carved the globe. It looked pretty sweet. Problem was, it collapsed pretty quickly.
