We're already, before the rest of this shit gets here, way over where we've been the past few years in terms of accumulated snow.

But that one big ass blizzard we had before Christmas decimated just about everyone's removal budget in one fell swoop. We're good for a storm like that every 5-10 years, and usually in late January of February. That we got that shit before Christmas is a BAD sign.

Of course our governments don't know how to handle it Jack. No offense man, but if I wanted to live in the snow belt, I would have moved to Minnesota, not south central Virginia.

If you go out to play in the snow, don't do what this, uh, "rocket scientist" did:

    More is coming this weekend.

I have a feeling it will be in the ballpark of 10.

Devil ... I'm hearing much, much, much more than that.

    Think two feet.

    Maybe more.

    Ugh.

They are calling for rain/snow mix in Richmond and snow away from the city. I have a feeling if you are under 32 degrees this weekend, you are fucked.

The weathermen seem to be afraid to say anything this soon.

We got about four inches overnight. Definitely a much wetter, heavier snow, though. Still a rather easy cleanup and quick shovel job this morning, thankfully. Got to work just as the guy was plowing the sidewalk that leads to the building. Couldn't have been happier.

This weekend is gonna suck, though.

They've backed off the "major snow" call for our area this weekend. We'll see.

Lucky you. Here's what the local NBC weather guy said this morning on his online update....

"A major winter storm will impact the region Friday afternoon into Saturday."

    Wonderful.

Sounds now like we could get around 8 inches of snow, to go with some sleet. Basically, an all-out mess.

Calling for lots and lots of rain here - temperature a tad too high for snow. At least as of right now.

They've back off in our area too, Mod. Still calling for 6-10 inches, but not the Snowpocalypse that some were fearing.
