Well … shit. Ain’t a damn thing good about this.

I get the stoicism, even if my attempts at it are pretty bad. And you’ve gotta do what works for you. But in the end we are measured by what we pour into others, not how we act at the very end with our bodies breaking down. So if you find the mask slipping at some point, don’t beat yourself up for it. Just lean into the love of those closest to you.

Well, crap. I'm sorry to hear that, CDB. There's really nothing I can offer that you haven't already heard, thought or done.

There are situations in everyone's life where none of the options are ideal.
