Keith Jackson was College Football for me USC and Blonde cheerleaders in tight white sweaters.

I could have done without the sweaters.

Brent is back. He and Jesse Palmer doing Iron Bowl tonight. No doubt that
Brent will be cranked up to be back in the national spotlight.

They've been the SEC Network lead crew all year. And Jesse is pretty dang good, IMO.

Being the lead SEC Network crew means they've gotten the fourth-best game, sometimes worse than that. They called Alabama-Western Carolina last week, Mississippi State vs. UT-Martin two weeks before that.

So yes, for all intents and purposes, Brent is back this week.

How does ESPN-ABC decide which Saturday night game goes on which network? Iron Bowl is ESPN, and Oregon-Oregon State is on the ABC affiliate here, which seems backwards to me.

ESPN gets SEC vs. SEC games and SEC home games vs. non-conference teams.

The only time SEC teams are on ABC is if they are playing on the road against a non-SEC team (such as Florida at Florida State, Georgia at Georgia Tech, etc.).

Thanks. The contracts between Disney, the SEC and Big Ten must have more pages than the Affordable Care Act.

Yeah, obviously they're all the same company, but my guess is it's a branding decision they've chosen to stick with when they can.

Did Brent always have a public chubby for Saban?

He's always been a front-runner. I thought at one time he wanted to marry Ricky Williams.

Anybody who says "demotivated" not once, but twice, in one half, isn't pretty dang good.
