I thought the Bartman doc was going to be part of 30 for 30

I too saw it @ film fest. Just wait. It gets juicy midway thru.

There's a great nugget revealed at the end. Gibney almost glosses over it, but I'm really curious to see if anybody here picks up on it.

This is wild, because I'm watching this on my kitchen TV, just like when I saw the play. And I remember my wife and I saying, "This is over. They all just looked at the uniforms and saw it says, 'Cubs.'"

Now, just so you know, I live in a heavily White Sox neighborhood where a guy was setting off fireworks after the Cubs lost game 7.

Blagojevich not giving Bartman a pardon. Classic.

They should redo this with an extra half-hour so that Bill Simmons can weigh in with even more Boston "woe is me" perspective.

Why did this become about Bill Buckner all of a sudden?

If you cut the first 20 minutes about Boston and the Buckner stuff, it was well done.

Anyone else heard the rumor that Bartman had a sex change?

That Bartman was waving his hands trying to get on TV in the sixth inning? I heard the narrator say it, but I couldn't pick it up on the film.

And I agree with the general feeling that the film would have been just fine if it had only focused on Bartman and left out all the Red Sox stuff.

Well that last frame shook my world. I didn't know if Alou caught it, the game and season were over. The Cubs win it all without even playing the World Series.

Interesting that Bill Buckner's kid's a media member now.
