I want your sax (another music thread)

I'll go an album earlier: His work on "Fortress Around Your Heart" is wonderful.

 

Urgent is a terrible song absolutely transformed by the sax solo by Junior Walker. It’s like two different songs.

 

When I think of 80s sax songs, I think of this monstrosity. I was fairly convinced that was Jo from Facts of Life on sax at the time. Also, while rewatching, I think Glen Frey opens both of his eyes only once in the entire video. That is a lot of closed-eye earnestness he was conveying.

 

I played sax at one time (E flat alto). How much does a good instrument fetch nowadays? I might bite at less than two grand.

 

I cut right to the solo at 4:19.

Hard to call that glorified clarinet he plays at saxophone. But I suppose, technically, it is.
