    Urgent is a terrible song absolutely transformed by the sax solo by Junior Walker. It’s like two different songs.

    When I think of 80s sax songs, I think of this monstrosity. I was fairly convinced that was Jo from Facts of Life on sax at the time. Also, while rewatching, I think Glen Frey opens both of his eyes only once in the entire video. That is a lot of closed-eye earnestness he was conveying.

    I played sax at one time (E flat alto). How much does a good instrument fetch nowadays? I might bite at less than two grand.

    Does Earth, Wind & Fire and Phil Collins solo count?

    If so, Don Myrick will have a lot of contributions to this thread - many of them really good.
