I watch America's Got Talent....sigh

That group was AWESOME!

 

Yeah, I was hoping they would have gotten further on the show, but they didn't. At least I will be able to see their act here at the Waterfront during Buskers.

 

Bump for tonight's show.

I'll just say that the two I would have voted to get rid of both made it in the first five to perform tonight. Booo.

 

Who got voted off?

 

Don't know yet. They introduce each group to make it right before they perform. The four left (of which 2 will advance) are Sideswipe, the big family group thing, Butterscotch and the calypso tumblers (my favorite group name).

 

Oh, you're watching a repeat of Tuesday's show.

 

Oh, that's all I get. My Tivo didn't record any others.

I guess I was recording something else Tuesday.


I'll say this: Tivo makes it so I don't know when or on what channel anything's on.

 

the guy country singer? uh, not even good at karaoke.
the glamazons? uh, bad singers and can't move.
the black singer from the sewer? nice guy but a dime a dozen.
sideswipe? athletic, yes; entertaining, no.
butterscotch? good, not great.
the 14-year-old girl? adorably wholesome.
the stocky singer? second-best of a weak field.
the ventriloquist? awesome.

 

Are you drunk?

If she doesn't win this, I'm suing somebody.

 

I think the ventriloquist is the most extraordinary talent. Butterscotch wouldn't be an outrageous winner, tho.

 

Eh, ventriloquism. I see ventriloquists all the time. Yeah yeah yeah, he sings. Great.

Butterscotch does everything. Piano, singing, beatboxing, the whole thing. Blows my mind.

 

Ventriloquism is a tougher skill than beatboxing, and he is a great mimic of singing styles, tho Butterscotch is a better singer.
