Blink once if you're shocked that you were beaten within an inch of your life by Dodgers rowdies.

Blink twice if you got what was coming to you.

I wonder what Douche I and Douche II from Pittsburgh will be saying when they find out this guy wasn't beaten by a drunken mob.

Zagoshe: He blamed the victim. I do not know that you saw that, but he clearly did.

It struck a negative chord the the rape-culture community.

I am unsure I can adequately explain this to you.

Jay: Terrible jump or not, it's true.

Especially among my friends who happen to be rape survivors.

Six pages and John hasn't personally come to SportsJournalists.com to defend himself. I'm amazed, considering he's been known to do that on local Pittsburgh boards when he's being called out.

There's always the hope he realizes he's facing a losing battle on this one, no matter how hard he and his paper are trying to put a happy face on it. I understand they're hiring "Baghdad Bob" to hande the next phase of the PR battle.

Pittsburgh! That's where the fatass fuck-bucket Mark Madden wrote a column after the 13-year-old girl was killed by a puck at the NHL game in Columbus, essentially saying that ditzy chickies should stay home and play Barbies and anybody suggesting netting behind the goals must be some kind of (insert Kobe Bryant quote here).

BillyT - Do you agree that sometimes your actions can trigger a negative response from others - right or wrong - and that sometimes people do bring shit on themselves?

Looks like he went on Inside Edition to defend himself. Anyone see that interview?

It's a shittily-written column if you have to splatter yourself all over TV, the Internet and your paper's website to defend it. I don't recall Mike Royko or Jim Murray going out TV and screaming, "No no. That's not what I meant..."

Sure. If I call you an asshole, and you hit me in the head, I share in the fault.

    But wearing my team's jersey.

That does not give you the right to put me in a coma.
