LaKisha had a nice night last night, but she seems vulnerable ... because she doesn't come across as vulnerable. Jordin was flattastic, but she has such sparkle she'll be OK. Chris is the worst singer left, but he has a pretty strong base. Although Phil was good the past few weeks, I could see LaKisha and him going home. Blake basically told Bon Jovi to shove it, and because the traditional song is a dopey sing-along, why not tweak it? Melinda is like the teacher. A terrific teacher, but she's not a student.

 

Idol is also about presentation. And while Melinda might be the best singer, her stage presence to me is... eh.
