Did anyone sense Blake and Chris to be more than just, um, "best friends"?

Nah. Chris has been romantically linked to "The Hills" star Lauren Conrad and AI reject/hottie Alaina Alexander. Probably not at the same time, but you never know.

The bald guy has a name. It's Phil.

Just catching up on the performances...

Blake killed it...killed (read: did amazing things with)

 

Fans eagerly anticipate Blake's debut CD:

 

But this isn't the Real World/Road Rules challenge. They wouldn't let the wrong person leave.

 

See, to me, her stage presence trumps everyone else on this show. She's not a rocker, but she danced with the guitarist, showed attitude when delivering lines that expressed it and basically played the part. Same with country week.

Glad to see Chris go. Can't say the same about Phil, who made a nice exit. He was shot down in a Blaze of Glory.

 

We're down to the final four that appeared obvious from the start.
Now it starts to get really interesting.
I think LaKisha is gone next week, and the shocker is Melinda going out the following week.
Then Jordin beats Blake in a vote that is mostly about the young people.
Regardless of how it turns out, I'll bet all four of the remaining contestants get contracts.

 

I think a Melinda-Blake final is imminently possible. Lakisha is likely gone next week. If Jordin has one more stinker, and I do think she's a bit shaken right now, she could be vulnerable. And if only Phil would have had that performance Tuesday.

 

I think all of the Final Four will get record contracts... I think Phil, based on his country success, will as well...

Blake still sucks though... Next week is BeeGees Week so he can beat box his way through "How Deep Is Your Love"
