Idol: 5/1 -- Bon Jovi Week!

I'm not a huge Jordin fan but I attribute her performance to youth. When you're faced with a style of singing you've never done before it's not surprising you fall on your face the first time. At least she took a chance and she was honest about the outcome. I don't think she lost many points.

I like Blake's voice but the beatbox thing is kinda stupid.

I've tired of Melinda and Takisha.

I'd throw one-trick LaKisha in with Blake.

 

No way he beat boxes through that a second time, sans Chris Sligh. Did it once, nailed it, time to do something else.

 

I think LaKisha is better than Taylor Hicks was...

I don't see anyone from this season having the kind of success that Daughtry is having, but I think there are more "signable" people than there have been in most other seasons...

 

I think Jordin is the one with the potential to be a Mariah Carey - maybe the bestselling Idol of all time.

She's got the voice, the youth, the looks, the likability, the stage presence and the name.

 

As long as she NEVER, EVER does a Bon Jovi song again. ;D

I love her talent. I'd love to see her win. But I was absolutely astonished at how horrific she was on Tuesday. I wouldn't have thought it possible. She looked as lost as Shaq at the free-throw line.

Right! ;D Remember, she's only 17. Melinda is 29. That's quite a few more years for Melinda to be honing her skills.
