Idol: 5/1 -- Bon Jovi Week!

This might be the first time in my history as a board member that I agree with dooley 100 percent on something. I'm too tired for this shit. At least wait until I wake up a little more to post smart shit, dools.

And I agree with what you said. The folks who say Blake can't sing fail to mention he nailed every note. Unlike Jordin and Lakisha who were flat at times.

Here's my order from last night:

1. Blake
2. Melinda
3. Lakisha
4. Phil
5. Chris
6. Jordin

My picks to go home are Phil and Chris. I still think Jordin's the Idol.

There may be a real showdown on the horizon b'tween Blake and Lakisha. Because we know Melinda belongs in the top 3, and we know Jordin does as well. Who gets that 3rd spot?

 

I completely agree, here. I told my wife, as soon as Melinda finished, "she had some attitude in that one."

 

I think Jordin has lost her margin for error, tho, Lugnuts. I could see one more stinker doing her in. And I am dumbfounded that Lakisha gets so much love. She's Fantasia Lite, let alone Aretha Lite.

 

I do. Melinda nailed country week and now Bon Jovi week. And neither one is exactly her wheelhouse. At this point, is there a song she can't sing?

I think Chris and Lakisha. I hope Chris and LaKisha, though, so it will probably be Phil and someone like Blake because I am cursed on my idol picks.

 

Blake sucks, but Simon thinks he can market him so he's rarely criticized...

I think they're learning from last year when no one could market Taylor Hicks. I think they see potential in Jordin and Blake. Despite that, Melinda is too good not to win...

 

I really don't think Blake sucks. I would definitely pay to see him, even though I'd be surrounded by 14-year-old girls.
