  5. XXXX, relax! After I graduated, I was called by dozens of recruiters and flown out for interviews and offered jobs by multiple major papers. During the job search, I talked to several dozens of editors. Not one mentioned a single word about grades or academic performance.

    You know, we should start a thread (to be stickied, without question) in which we have research papers posted. Kinda like those frat house file cabinets, the ones that don't hold the liquor bottles. It'd be much easier for xxxx if he could just copy and paste and skip the whole sleep deprivation thing.

    Call it "xxxx's bailout research paper thread" in honor of our young friend here.

    Hell, I wrote a 12-page philosophy research paper in one night, starting at midnight, footnotes and everything, without ever reading the stuff. Smashed should be easy!
