More than you'd think. Deitl was a frequent Imus guest, and Williams was the subject of a separate Imus race controversy.

Sid Rosenberg used to do sports on Imus. Rosenberg once made a horribly racist remark about the Williams sisters. Imus suspended Rosenberg for it. (Or somebody forced him to suspend him.) Imus decried the comment at the time.

This whole thing is just weird, weird, weird.

  2. Is it still possible to buy Imus salsa and cleaning products?

Della Reese is a sweet lady but please.

"We have worked with the children and asked them to clean up their lyrics. Now they ryme things and its just gotten a lot better"

Della time to pick up the white courtesy phone. I had freinds who did bongs in front of their irish grandmother by telling it was a tube to clear their nasal passages.

He has been "available" for a while. How come no one has picked him up?

The fact that a fraud like Deitl was a frequent Imus guest tells you everything you need to know about Imus and Deitl. And Bo needs to get out of the tanning booth every now and then. The sonofabitch looks orange. Anyone remember the horrible netcigar.com radio ads Deitl did about five years ago?

I'd be shocked if, within the next two weeks, one of the satellite companies didn't announce Imus was coming on. If it can jack Howard's stock up, that's all that would matter to him.

Exactly. Howard Stern might have the best business acumen of anyone ever associated with radio/electronic media that wasn't an administrator. Howard cares about the bottom line and how much of that bottom line winds up in his savings account. That's it.

If Imus goes satellite I think he loses his core audience. His audience is not Stern's.

If Imus goes sat, it'll be a while. I don't think there's going to be a lot of big-time signings while they figure this merger thing out.

Damn, the Imus factor causes accident for New Jersey's governor

CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) — Gov. Jon S. Corzine underwent surgery Thursday night after suffering several broken ribs and a broken leg when his motorcade was involved in a car accident, a doctor said.
A trooper and an aide to the governor also were injured in the crash, which happened shortly after 6 p.m. on the Garden State Parkway. All three were taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden.
At the time of the crash, the governor was on his way from Atlantic City to his mansion in Princeton to take part in the meeting between radio personality Don Imus and the Rutgers University women’s basketball team.
Imus was fired from his radio program by CBS Thursday amid furor about remarks he made about the team.
Dr. Steven Ross, head of trauma for the hospital, said at a news conference that Corzine was still in surgery for the break to his left leg around 10 p.m. EDT Thursday night. He was in critical condition, authorities said, but his injuries were not considered life-threatening.
State Senate President Richard Codey will serve as acting governor while Corzine is hospitalized.
The crash occurred when a pickup truck on the right shoulder of the highway swerved then came back onto the highway, said State Police Superintendent Rick Fuentes. Another pickup in the right lane swerved into the passenger side of the sport utility vehicle in which Corzine was riding, he said.
“It looks as if the trooper did a tremendous job doing what he could to maintain control of that vehicle,” Fuentes.
The condition of the trooper and the aide were not immediately available.
