Red Robin, IIRC, uses frozen patties when making their burgers. Five Guys uses fresh ground beef.

For me, that is a huge difference.

You can also get grilled cheese at In-N-Out.

KCAL/9, too. Feature on their local news last night.

Any chance you have the name of this bar? If not, can you get it?

And yes, after six years of lurking around here, THIS is what finally motivated me to register. It's certainly not how I imagined it.

The wife and I went to Five Guys the other night. We each got a cheeseburger and a drink and split a regular order of fries. Total bill: $12. And there were at least a half-pound of fries leftover.

    TWELVE DOLLARS!!! GAHHHHH!!!!!!

That's pretty good... The last time I was there, I think it was $9 for a double cheeseburger, fries and a drink. It wasn't too bad, but not as cheap as In N Out. The burger wasn't as good either. The fries were great though.

In-N-Out is holding a job fair in Dallas at the end of the month, which hopefully means I'll be doing it animal style by the middle of May.

Had my first Five Guys burger in the West Village last night. Wow. Better than In-N-Out by far, imo.

    Luv ya, bro!

    EDIT:

Wait. You're in "The City" and the best you could do for eats was Five Guys? WTF?
