That's just your opinion. Everyone else is looking at the post and saying, "Man, that Big Circus. Nobody does it better."

And I always heard that's the way it should be.

I sit and wait for every Big Circus post with Anticipation.

Knight was far more polarizing and recognizable to non-basketball fans than Coach K. Coach K won't make 1A just on Final Fours and wins. Not sure Knight makes it if he dies old and out of the limelight; a few years ago he'd have been a stronger candidate.

    Bannister's a possibility. I say Palmer's a near-lock, a whisper ahead of Nicklaus.

He also will have three gold medals and numerous records and serve as the paragon for the sport and have made Duke, for at least a solid 1f years, the most important college basketball team in the country

I think most of us had 40-50 channels in 1980.

Which is more than I watch of the 1,000 I have now.

All of that makes him an outstanding choice for the cover of SI when he dies, not the NYT.

Athletes whose death would be front page news on the NY Times: Jordan, LeBron, Jim Brown, Magic Johnson, Ali, Hank Aaron, Pete Rose, Willie Mays, Lance Armstrong, Nolan Ryan, and any of the Core Four.

I don't buy Coach K either, especially if the NYT is as highbrow as some were arguing in this thread.

Does anyone know if Heath Ledger was A1?
