    Got up
    Made bed (I do that every day for some reason, like the dog is going to be impressed or something)
    Gathered the stuff I need to take to the cleaners
    Put on the coffee
    Took Ella out
    Cleaned up after Ella (didn't involve pulling anything)
    Fed Ella
    Poured a cup of that coffee
    Checked email
    Checked my fantasy baseball team (in playoffs riding an eight-week winning streak, now playing my boss who has four two-start pitchers this week)
    Checked my banking site
    Read this thread

    All that didn't take an hour but I figured the sleeping thing I was doing 60 minutes ago doesn't count

    My oldest and his friend did a number on my grass with their three-wheelers when they were little.
    I have often said I can grow grass or kids. I can't do both.

    Took the kid to the park. Checked some work email. Stopped at a produce stand to find something to go with Perogis for dinner and now arguing with morons on Facebook about why it's wrong for a 3rd-run candidate for my city's mayor can make random suggestions in a campaign video (like saying he wants to close down the Farmer's Market and widen Main St.) against the current mayor with no attribution to a story or link to a board meeting minutes where said incumbent ever said such a thing.
    But you know...lies are cool and #FakeNews is in...so this guy will probably win. Ai yi yi

    Ugh. Hated the whole experience. More than 2 hours of tourture. I seemed to be the only one willing to bet more than a dollar at a time...and some guys were picking kickers in the 1st round. Just chaos and boredom.

    I had the exact opposite experience from you. My wife took the kids to the beach for the weekend and I stayed back to attend a shitty football game and complete some house projects. I don't think I interacted with another person on Sunday. Wouldn't have spoken a word out loud if the dog hadn't been around. It was exactly what I wanted.

    OK, I know there are many Canadians around this board, and you are good, valued contributors.
    And I have known and liked many Canadians in my life.
    And I have been to Canada twice in my life and really enjoyed both trips.

    But 'tourture'?
    You people are out of control with the extraneous U.
