So anyway, back to the S-CHIP thing. Here's what a couple of left-wing liberals say about it:

"This legislation will get the Children’s Health Insurance Program back on track and reclaim precious resources for low-income kids,” said Senator Charles E. Grassley of Iowa, ranking Republican on the Senate Finance Committee.

Another Republican, Senator Orrin G. Hatch of Utah, called the agreement announced today “an honest compromise that improves a program that works for America’s low-income children.”

And the federal government taxing me to pay for your health insurance is still unconstitutional.

You prove yourself wrong by being that dumb, JR. It's why I have to take on the burden of continually educating you lefties -- yes, even you Canadian lefties who have no say in US government.

    Communists!

Breathtaking logic, as always, tony. Tell me, by that line of thinking, are libraries, public schools, Social Security and, by the by and by, no-bid contracts to defense contractors also unconstitutional?

    Show your work.

Well tony, since YOU brought up Iraq, you know what else is unconstitutional? Giving false reasons for invading a country. Where are those WMDs, anyhow?

Better yet, the roads on which tony drove to work today! PINKO ROADS IF YOU ASK ME!

I'm not the one trying to change it to the old USSR. Those are the ones who don't like it and should be getting the heeeeelll out. They're the ones bitching about what the President just did.

But it doesn't work for tobacco and insurance companies. Why can't anybody understand this? Maybe we can get a compromise bill that will provide the kids free smokes to sample along with their socialized healthcare?

Yeah TRAITORS! Don't ever question the President (unless he's a Democrat)

OT doesn't drive to work on federal highways, because those were paid for by taxes. He also didn't go to public school (socialism) or use the post office (marxists). He hand delivers all his mail.

Licking a stamp is the first step toward communism.

Libraries and public schools are state and local. Social Security, if run by someone other than the fed guv, would have the organizers serving time.

As for you're constant whining about no-bid contracts, no, I don't support no-bid contracts. They should be bid for. Where have I ever argued otherwise?
