It has everything to do with it. If health care is a right, so is housing and food. And that being the case, government should pay my mortgage and grocery bills.

But since it's not a right, government has no business paying it for anyone.

Absolutely not, because taxes are SUPPOSED to pay for police, fire and such.

Taxes -- remember, the government has no money of its own, every dime of it is taken from the citizens -- are not meant for paying people's bills.

So if some poor kid has a brain tumor or something, it's just tough crap for him? Keep the ER clear for paying customers?

Just because you don't call it welfare doesn't mean it isn't. It's just welfare for the better-off. You can choose to hide behind children all you want. It just shows you don't have the facts on your side so you have to tug at the heartstrings.

Every time you make these "tug at the heartstring" posts it shows you know you don't have the facts on your side.

I'm arguing on the principle of what our government should and should not be paying. I don't need emotional ploys. That you do shows the weakness of your side.

Tony, time to STFU, you're making yourself look ridiculous.

Hey, tell me, where in Constitution does it say we have the right to public schools, public libraries, and post offices? What, it doesn't! Well, if they're paying for that, then I guess they have to pay for our mortgages and grocery bills too, now. That's the same fucking dumbass logic you're using now and its just too stupid to waste any more time on.
