Interesting kerfuffle with one of the radio talking heads and a member of the on-air "talent" from NESN.

Not the first time someone from the network has been linked to a team member either. As Francesa would say, this thing is an uttuh disastuh.

Media vs. media makes me laugh the hardest. It's all fun and games when an affair comes out about a player, but when it's the person "reporting" on the team, it's off limits? No way. I love it .... keep it coming!

Next thing you know they'll all be fighting over the meaning of 'infer' and 'imply.'

Provincial clods, as usual. When's Anthony's Pier 4 open?

    This is an absolute shitshow.

Pretty soon Hazel Mae will get dragged back into it.

I agree with KP here, and that rarely happens. How can Shaughnessy's daughter help it if she were the best candidate? People said the same thing when Sean McDonough was hired by 38/NESN years ago.

Of all the embarrassing things Shaughnessy has done, this is up there.

Felger's point was right on, if Francona's personal life and how it might have affected the team, then why not Henry's failed marriages, the players' failed marriages should be fair game as well which is where Varitek, and by association, Watney, comes in.

Watney never should have opened her mouth considering there are enough people out there ready to throw her under and just how replacable that position is. Rumors of her started before she even did a home game and with talk of multiple trips to HR in that first year.

As for Hazel, she was the one that made the point that she wouldn't work with management telling her who she could and couldn't hang with. Now married... to someone who used to be in the Blue Jays system.

Also, Sept. 26 Red Sox released statement saying they would not comment on Lackey's divorce filing because it was personal. Two weeks later...

No worse than Lupica's fawning over 1998. And again, I don't have a lot of time for Shaughnessy.

So that should therefore excuse the Red Sox.

I think you can imply that from what's being said.

:D I darn well know the difference.
