Irritating phrases we'll hear the rest of college football's regular season

    I think "pick" might be the most overused piece of jargon in the sportswriting biz right now. It reeks of, "Look at me. I call an interception the same thing that a player calls it."

    There's nothing wrong with just using "interception."

    In addition to irritating phrases, we'll have to endure ESPN's insistence on giving every Saturday some sort of nickname, like "Separation Saturday" or "Shakeup Saturday." I f'ing hate that.
