Is Kevin Smith serious about Clerks III?

If he has a masterpiece, Dogma was it. The others are variations on the same BS, over and over again.

 

'Clerks' and 'Chasing Amy' are very worthwhile.

'Dogma' doesn't hold up. When you first see it, it seems to be more than it really is.

 

His movies since the mid 90s have indeed been shitty, but get that weak Comic Book Men shit out of here.

 

It's not that bad.
It's a reality show about comic book freaks.
Let's lower our expectations and not look for Masterpiece Theater.
I don't love being around Kev's buddies, but at least these guys are real.

Zach and Miri Make A Porno is underrated in its shiftiness. It is truly awful. Not a laugh in the whole film. I remember walking out of the theatre thinking "I really think I could have written a better screenplay than that."

 

If Clerks 3 features Rosario Dawson dancing in skinny jeans and a skimpy tank top, it'll be worth a look.

 

I'm not sure why, but this is a guilty pleasure of mine.
