Is Mitt running for president again?

He could always try to turn it around and say that he is proof that anyone can make it in America even without a college degree.

There are ways to spin it. If he says that a job offer was too good to pass up and he regrets not going back, I could see it not being a big issue.

But honestly, as soon as he thought seriously about running, he should have gone back to get his degree. The University of Phoenix needs it's first presidential alumni. :D

RJ, I don't think it's believable that in the late 1980s someone took a "too good to pass up" job just a class or two short of a degree. Maybe something like high-level programmer for Microsoft or whatever, but not for the job he went to.

    Would it really matter?

He could produce sworn statements from deans and his fellow students, and all the Democrats would have to do is say, "Yeah, but what do we REALLY know about Scott Walker?"

That's also if the Democrats have the balls to use one of the plays out if the GOP playbook.

This thread is still open. ... Please don't kill it.

It's politics. People are going to disagree. If someone disagrees with you -- even if they think someone is a "buffoon" and you don't -- just disagree without making it personal. You are both fine. ... even the "buffoon" thing is fine. You both made your point, and it's all good.

If you are a third person, please don't post just to comment that about how one of the people with a different opinion is trolling the other person or to make a personal comment about one of the people. That is how these threads have started downhill in the past. I'm not singling anyone out. ... But I know from the past, these things get out of hand when the thread splits into sides trying to hammer each other at all costs, rather than just making their point and expressing an opinion.

Disagree. ... but keep the level of discourse up. And this won't get the hook. Let's see if this can happen.

John McCain always did a good job of spinning his poor Navy academic record. People grow up.

Heck, a while back, the Republicans said they were going to bring up a certain intern again.

That'll be a great winning strategy.

Hey, pal, that's a National Magazine Award-nominated intern you're talking about there.

I've gone well beyond of being surprised at the depths that sides will go to to try to win an election.

If you're a republican campaign strategist and you're trying to find dirt on Hillary and you come back with things her husband did 20 years ago, you should be fired. In part, because it's 20 years old and in part because reminding everybody how great the country was when her husband was in office probably isn't the smartest thing to do either. :D

In part, that's because her husband was willing to work with the Republican majority in Congress, unlike the current administration.

Hey, speaking of buffoons, did you see Biden is thinking about running?

Can you blame the current administration? Especially when for the first four years, the opposition said that their sole goal was to make him a one-term president.
