In which the Times editorial board goes after Gov. Walker, and repeatedly gets his name wrong:

And then changed it without noting the correction:

Shouldn't the more respectful reference be Gov. Walker?

I'm having a Mel Brooks flashback.

He lives more than 1,000 miles from New York. He deserves no respect. He's lucky they even know his first name.

Jeb hires founder of Hipster.com as technology aide. People find old tweets. Hipster deletes tweets, saying he doesn't think they're funny anymore.

New Jeb Bush Hire Deletes Comments About Sluts, Gays from Twitter

new study confirms old belief: college female art majors are sluts, science majors are also sluts but uglier. (March 17, 2009)

when i burp in the gym i feel like it’s my way of saying, “sorry guys, but i’m not gay” (Jan. 3, 2010)

i know lindsey lohan is supposed to die soon, but i’d sure like to sleep with her before that happens (April 2, 2010)

most people don't know "halloween" is german for "night that girls with low self-esteem dress like sluts" (Oct 31, 2009)

Obviously they don't have binders full of women at Hipster.com. Maybe bound women.

Isn't Jeb Bush a little too mainstream for a true hipster?

How old is the guy? Not that it's ever OK, but if the guy made the tweets when he was in college, I might give him a pass. It sounds like most of the bad ones were 5+ years old.

If he was 30 when he did it, I'd have more of a problem with it.

I think he was in his early-mid 20s. By the way, this is now going to be the norm for every politician who grew up in the internet age.

There's a generation of men who binged on books by some clown named Tucker Max for a while, who made a fortune being Dice Clay Lite. I think that's where a lot of this comes from. Just like many a few years ahead of them wanted to be Chuck Klosterman.

I don't hold it against them.

I think he'll be OK since all were from five years ago or so, but I guarantee you a lot of people are deleting old tweets after this story came out. I would hate to be the person going through 5-7 years of tweets looking for something controversial.

Would you rather he says no?

He also came out recently and said he's done talking about gay marriage. It's legal, he has no intention of fighting that so he's moved on.
