It is not going to end well for Johnny Manziel

Hey, a girl’s gotta get all the love she can.

    Wait, you said bipolar.

It feels like you got up this morning, logged on and said "Alright, motherfuckers, let's go!"

I find it hard to believe that he would put this out there when he's looking for a contract if it was not true. I also think it will pretty much torpedo his comeback attempt.

I heard some clown on the radio this morning say that now that Manziel has his head on straight, this could be the greatest comeback story in sports history.

I'm amused by those who suggest that Manziel's only issues in football were off the field. Like he was a Hall of Fame talent who merely took a wrong path.

I don't think I've said anything too incendiary. I'm just not politically correct, but some people confuse that with being right wing, racist and a supporter of our dipshit in chief. No, it merely means I'm not easily offended. I'm an equal opportunity offender. I also have no problem admitting when I'm wrong, whereas some folks here, when they're wrong, just double down on buzz words -- boston! racist! -- which just amuses me because they simply can't dust themselves off and try again.

He didn't peacefully protest, he's fine.

And it's probably too late to fend off the latest SJ.com squabble that ends with a locked thread, but it's entirely possible to take depression seriously and to be skeptical about Manziel's claims. He's not some older guy who was groomed to believe depression is something you only feel when something sad happens. He's a 25-year-old with a well-documented wild streak who has had resources most of us, regardless of age, don't have. His family is well-to-do and he was a superstar football player at a major college football factory. There were dozens, if not hundreds, of chances over the previous decade to try and find out why he's so wild and violent and self-destructive.

But it took until now, with Manziel's game and name so far down the toilet that even the CFL is taking a pass on him, to figure out he's bipolar? Convenient.
