Nobody said you're a racist because you don't like people flying planes into building. Find that mentioned somewhere on this thread, please. But when people toss around terms like raghead, regardless of whom they're describing, that's racist. Lump all Muslims (which I'm NOT saying YOU have done) together as terrorists is racist.
The fact that you've said you DON'T lump them all together is a very positive thing. Hate the killer, not the killer's family (or race).

That being said, what precisely do you propose we do to rid the world of terrorists, something we know to be logistically impossible anyway? Invade Iraq? Did that. Invade Afghanistan? Did that. What other country should we invade?

I'm not saying we should do nothing, but when we do something, it ought to be the right thing. Railroading in and killing isn't always the solution. There's got to be another way.

If only we could find it?

The original title of this thread belies a racist line of thinking. Of course, when asked, most people say, "No, I'm not a racist."

But when it quacks like a terrorist...

 

I want to bring up what you said about how we invaded Iraq and Afganhistan and nothing was solved. You have to understand that Muslims have different views of Islam. When Bush said that Saddam had something to do with Al Qaeda, I laughed it off because I knew Saddam's and Osama's idea of Islam are EXTREMELY different. If Saddam ever walked into an Al Qaeda site, Al Qaeda would kill him instantly.

P.S. I also want to say that I am a Muslim. I don't believe that woman should be beaten in any way. I don't believe that they should be forced to committ suicide. So what does that make me?

If people stopped and looked at what the religion offers people and what the rules are instead of looking at the hypocrites of Islam, it would make things much better.

I have 5,000 posts. Give me the top RACIST statement that makes me a RACIST. You have a huge inventory to choose from.

I hope you come up with something better than: "It's a peace loving religion. No, really. Honestly."

Actually, I think it's a thread title about a religion I have little taste for. You want me to start one about the catholics, they of the religion who promoted and protected pedophiles and (thus ruining countless lives) in their employ for generations? I have before here at SportsJournalists.com and don't recall anybody calling anyone a racist over that. They of the religion who's pope barely lifted a finger in Nazi Germany to protect hundreds of thousands of Jews from being exterminated.

I can start one as well about the catholics if it makes you feel better.

 

I think Mormons are too clean cut. Don't like 'em (except for Idaho and Marie Osmond).

Can you start one on Mormons?
