IJAG, does it have to hit 100 for your roommate to give clearance to turn on the A/C?

I'm all for saving money, but that's not a sacrifice I would make. Especially if it's as humid as I suspect it is.

Well, she handles EVERYTHING. So that's electricity, gas, phone, cable, internet, alarm system, the cleaning lady, and whatever other random bills there might be.

It's normally not a big deal. I'm just going to go buy one more fan when I go to Wal-Mart in a minute. You're welcome, Doc.

Wal-Mart rules. I might go there later just to kill time.

Wal-Mart and I get along for the most part. If I can't find what I need on the way to Wal-Mart, it'll be my next stop.

And I really might go there to kill time. Remember ... Wal-Mart: Where you go to feel like a winner.

You don't have any books? Killing time at a Wal-Mart? I fear for you. Hell, I fear you.

Here's the jawdropping (at least on my part) conclusion:

After parading through the house two or three times, making a show of wiping the sweat from my brow, etc. I finally give up and go to my room. I decide to go to Wal-Mart at 8, which also happens to be when she's leaving to go babysitting.

It's 8 p.m. It's EASILY 10 degrees cooler than it was. We're BOTH LEAVING THE HOUSE. And she says, I swear to god, "I think I'm going to turn on the air conditioning. It's hot."

I nearly beat my head against the wall, but feared it would deter her. So I'm soaking up the a/c now...that I don't need it.

The Stanley Cup Final is on at you are at Wal Mart?

IJAG, it was too damn hot, and humid, to be without AC.

I would not even take lil 93 to the big garden in town because it was too hot.

I do have a few. But I'm getting cabin fever. I hate days off when I've got nothing to do.

You know, it's not even that hot here... but I had a really long day. And I am sitting in a room with the air conditioner set to arctic blast. Don't mean to rub it in, but, damn, I am coooooooooooool.
