Good point. Which is another reason "African-American" can be incorrect when it used to mean "black."

 

I guess what it comes down to is how the individual wants to be categorized. I would think that it would be an advantage in some cases for Zimmerman to be Hispanic instead of "white". This might be one of those cases.

I always found it interesting that Colin Powell did not consider himself an African American.

The bail hearing has turned out to be fairly interesting. It's almost like they are trying the case.

It's pretty clear that the prosecution has an uphill battle based on the evidence introduced today.
