    Don't forget that at least one of the investigators recommended Zimmerman be charged with manslaughter the night of the shooting. The prosecutor's office wouldn't pursue it - likely because of 'Stand Your Ground.'

    Actually, there's a good chance he didn't confront Trayvon. Reading the transcript and adding in other info we know, I think he may have only tried to follow from a distance, so he would be able to tell the police where Trayvon had gone.

    Also, is there any evidence out there that Zimmerman was the one who confronted Trayvon?

    There's really no evidence out there of much of anything that night. That's how you sandbag a case from the get-go, don't investigate.
