I was thinking that too. I said it early on the thread and I think it was discussed a couple pages ago too, but the only way any of this makes sense is if Zimmerman has some kind of undisclosed family or other close connection to the police force or city government.

But these were about this story. And I described them as 'chilling.'

It would have been front page news for both The Post and Daily News the next day and for a week after.

Speaking of the Post, the Fox comments don't look much different than the Post comments when the Knicks are losing.

    I'm not denying this.

But, highlighting a link from LittleGreenFootballs blog, to comments on Fox's site, makes as much sense a smalpotatoes linking to WorldNetDaily birther stories.

There are 300 million people in this country. The racists will post racist comments on any story involving race. They're racists. It's not like they make educated, analytical decisions.

The problem is that it's really easy to hear something once you've been told to expect to hear it.

It completely sounds to me like that's what he said, but having been told in advance it was a possibility, I don't trust my ears.

The inaction of people in charge in Sanford, Fla is stupefying.

Yeah, I can't say if I ever would have found that myself.

But it is what he said, right? Or at least it can be introduced into evidence and he can be asked to explain exactly what it was he was saying or thinking when he said it (or what it really was that he said)?
