So basically, you don't think Zimmerman had the right to do his job.

If a community that had been the victim of multiple break-ins decided it needed a neighborhood watch or security patrol, I'm pretty sure they'd want those people doing their fucking job. And part of that job - whether you like it or not - is to monitor who is in the neighborhood.

    His job?

It was not a job. It was a self-appointed volunteer position.

And whatever Neighborhood Watch is supposed to be, it does not under any circumstances involve a gun.

    Whatever you say, sweetheart.

Appreciate you bringing up race, since clearly that's what stands out in your mind. It was just a matter of time before you let your true intentions known.

Oh, are did I edit "bad black teenager" into your post too?

According to the organizers of the Neighborhood Watch program.

No, and I know you want to play that game "only YOU GUYS see race, I'm color-blind!" But race is an obvious factor here and there is no need to avoid it. I am sure you have also nodded your head at those photos of "the real Trayvon" without bothering to notice that they were actually photos of The Game.

Anyway ... what I posted initially is accurate. Trayvon Martin was unarmed. George Zimmerman had a gun and was following him.

Both prosecutors and defense attorneys asked Serino about when and whether George Zimmerman was following Trayvon Martin the night of the altercation. De la Rionda replayed a portion of the Feb. 29 interview tape in court, in which Zimmerman says, "They told me not to follow him. I wasn't following him, I was just going in the same direction."

"That's following," Serino said on the tape.

O'Mara asked whether Serino had any evidence that Zimmerman continued to follow Trayvon Martin after a non-emergency dispatcher told him not to.

"I would answer I have information, yes," Serino said. "Just based on where we located Trayvon and the fact that the altercation happened after the confrontation. That's my interpretation. There was some following."

    Clue me in.

Was Neighborhood Watch a paid job? Can you find a Neighborhood Watch program that sends its volunteers into duty with firearms?

According to the National Sheriff's Association, which sponsors a lot of them.

Edit: I meant to reply to AQB. The sheriffs do not want neighborhood watchers carrying.

Regardless of the poliecies Zimmerman's Neighborhood watch group will be paying
through the nose when lawsuits start.

I have no idea what you're talking about there. The pictures I've seen of Trayvon are the ones of him smiling. If there are pictures out there of him doing anything other than smiling, I haven't seen them.

And InkyWretch answered your other question about Neighborhood Watch programs. Several of them are sponsored by sheriff departments across the country, and those departments even go as far as training and providing weapons to them.

Zimmerman had a CCW permit. He was a legal gun owner.

Now, answer this question and answer it truthfully. If Zimmerman was a black male (not a white hispanic, whatever the fuck that means), would you still care about this case as much as you do? Be honest with yourself.

The fact of the matter is that kids like Trayvon, unfortunately, are 10 times more likely to get shot by a young black male than they are by the mean old white guy in the neighborhood.

Yep, which Zimmerman helped start, so Zimmerman will pay regardless. I don't believe this Neighborhood Watch group had a hefty insurance policy.
