It was sort of interesting. He announced his appointment to head the World Bank, and it was a pretty unconventional choice. he took one question, and it was regarding this case.

Was that the obvious question that any reporter would have asked, or was it somehow pre-planned?

I'm not trying to espouse any kind of "conspiracy" between the WH and the press corp, just curious.

why is the case of Shawn Tyson so difficult? Too uncomfortable? 17 year old black Floridian man murders 2 British tourists. Trial is going on now. Where's MSNBC's lead social journalist, Al Sharpton, your journalism colleague?

I guess we really shouldn't be surprised about who's complaining.

So why is a murder trial not getting as much attention as a murder that local government declined to prosecute for vague, difficult to understand reasons? This is a serious question?

As Beaker said, the person making the complaint makes this, sadly, not as unbelievable a question as it should be.

There were 20 murders in Orlando area for 2011. It does not seem like it would have taxed The Orlando Sentential to cover.

This story did not hit their paper until Wednesday following the shooting on Sunday.
It took a month to hit national news.

To me it seems like it should have been an above the fold story on Monday .
