    Once again, a strawman.

No one is coming to Zimmerman's defense -- unless you consider "he should be arrested and tried" as coming to defense.

It seems you're incapable of looking at all sides of an issue. Hence your need for strawmen.

Some "friends" on Facebook have been citing this story as the reason the cops have it all right.

While I'm willing to look at both sides, the newsman in me says if you have quotes from multiple people willing to be identified, go on camera and pretty much tell the same story and then you have one person telling a different story, but doesn't want to be named or go on camera, then you should have a problem with that.

Can't argue with this at all. But whatever the motives, that person does apparently exist. And so does the police report that says Zimmerman's face was bloodied and the back of his sweater was wet and grass-stained.

Which again does nothing to dispel any previous conceptions about the case. They fought. George lost.

Not true. The affiliates that are not Fox O&Os have no allegiance to the Fox News approach or demands. They are entirely separate entities that answer to different companies, and simply work for stations that happen to air Fox programming.

The owned and operated stations -- like the Tampa one -- are absolutely "dancing to the tune" of Fox News.

Your own words bring self-defense and "stand your ground" laws into play.

So you can stalk someone, attack them, and if they fight back you get to shoot them.

    Good to know.

Maybe in your racist world in which George Zimmerman's "ground" is anywhere he can accost an innocent person, lose a fight and then pursue the altercation in another location. From the witness whom police tried not to talk to, until she repeatedly called them and made them listen to her:

"Blew us off, and I called him back again and I said, "I know this was not self-defense. There was no punching, no hitting going on at the time, no wrestling,'" Cutcher said. Cutcher said she believes whatever confrontation there was, it ended before they got to her backyard.

I can see how that doesn't fit with your narrative, but why would police put all their faith in this one mystery witness and not listen to people who were begging to talk to them?

But I do hope to know more about this "John" because right now, one of two things happens:

    1) It's going to be a hell of a cross-examination.

    Or

    2) He doesn't exist in the first place and it's evidence of a cover-up that sends several Sanford police officers to prison.

Again, your strawman shows the weakness of your position.

Since I've said Zimmerman should be charged and tried, I'm assuming that everyone who believes this is a "racist," too? Or were you just calling names to hide the weakness of your position?

Wow. Apologies if this has already been touched on ...

SANFORD, Fla. — Members of the New Black Panther Party are offering a $10,000 reward for the “capture” of George Zimmerman, leader Mikhail Muhammad announced during a protest in Sanford Saturday.
When asked whether he was inciting violence, Muhammad replied defiantly saying: “An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth."

Mostly I'm just referring to your long and well-enunciated history here, which is again evident in this case. It is essential background to understanding how a person could dismiss all the on-the-record witness statements, interviews and 911 calls and take as gospel truth the one shady account that emerges through a tinged news source two weeks later. Keep in mind that we haven't actually seen the file, we've only seen what a Fox outlet says a source told them is in there, so that would be the shakiest information of all. But it fits your worldview that we must all stand our ground against these black men who want our women and our TVs, so that's the one you choose to believe.
