Let's have a non-"Fox NEWS!!!!!!" link, to silence - or at least lessen - the inevitable braying.

Bobby Rush is kicked off the House floor for wearing a hoodie.

I can't wait for the case to come to the Supreme Court to decide whether a hood equals a hat.

Also, in terms of the most outrageous props to hit the House floor, this doesn't rank in the top 1,000. Mississippi Republican at the gavel couldn't have played his part as easily affronted, out-of-touch authority figure better if it were scripted.

Bobby Rush, who will (perhaps) go down in history as the answer as the answer to what trivia question? (I know you know, Bob.)

They caused less damage than the dozens of Project X parties suburban kids have been holding since the movie came out.

That said, hell yes, ground them. But $150 of damage is not as big a deal as some are making it out to be.

A person could say raising one's son in a way that leads to that son assaulting a police officer and assaulting his wife ... and teaching the son that carrying a loaded firearm is a way to solve neighborhood disputes ... and letting that son live at one's home into his mid-20s ... a person could say all of that is "the problem with parenting in this day and age."

But we wouldn't want to be unfair like that. The bigger problem is people who don't treat convenience store display racks with the utmost respect.

That's easy for me to answer, because my residence was in Rush's district at the time, and I was among the few who voted for Obama against him.

Actually proves the opposite. I'd cross the street if I saw that approaching.

Also, Rush was the one enlisted to build Obama's bona fides -- with black voters, who weren't sure whether he could identify with them. (For a candidate whose story makes him unidentifiable with anyone, Obama has done pretty well for himself, wouldn't you say?)

I guess we shouldn't hold our breath waiting for the president to denounce this.

Has Holder launched an investigation into the Black Panthers' bounty on Zimmerman yet?
